Check Karnataka Traffic Fine Cases Pending
A senior traffic police officer said, “On our website, anybody can check whether there are any ongoing fines against their car, and they can also make the payment. We will upgrade the Bengaluru Traffic Police website interface by Friday, and we will provide a link,” he added, requesting all car owners to check whether there are any charges against their vehicles and take advantage of the Karnataka Traffic Fine Discount scheme.
The system recognizes the vehicle registration number when a violation gets discovered by video surveillance. Then it generates a notification to the person whose name the car is registered and delivered to the address associated with the vehicle. However, many people do not reply, in several instances, the owner of the car would have moved residences, and the ownership of the vehicle would have changed. Still, the records must be updated, according to a senior traffic police official.
